Learning Your Body’s Love Language

Ladies,

Have you ever had someone tell you, “oh just workout harder.” or “You gotta eat cleaner”? How about this, “Just do a detox for 7 days and you’ll feel back to yourself”.

Many women have been there. We want to change your experience. Why? Because regulating health is not that simple.

Dear Pausy Body exists to give your reboot, your Pause season a little sass; some Pausiness if you will. Entering into seasons of hormonal imbalance is a real thing. You are not crazy. Yes your body has changed and yes it has made you emotional. The body’s behaving a little pausy.

As I entered my own journey of perimenopause I noticed a lot of stark changes. I too felt some kind of way; primarily because as a teacher, practitioner trainer I believe I know how to “fix” issues. This was entirely different.

In research we will also notice that women entering their Pauses are not only feeling isolated but also having an interesting medical experience.

It is also not uncommon that black women are the highest ranked among races that are neglected, dismissed and underserved when it comes to medical care, followed by the Latin community.

We want to ameliorate the mistrust of medicine, healthcare and personal care by creating the standard we desire to see globally.

Assessment for New Clients

 
  • My experience in menopause is stubborn as rocks but I have to admit that I am staring to see some change in my body through the personal training. 1 inch in my hips and 2 inches in my waist. That may sound like a small number but if you know then you know! LaShanna I’m so glad you’re back!

  • I didn’t know how connected my eating was to my mental health. The nutrition guidance that I’ve been receiving has helped me alot with my emotions, getting better sleep and all of my evening bloating. I plan to keep these routines.

  • I moved to Houston six years ago and was concerned about finding someone who could take the place of my trainer. LaShanna has exceeded my expectations and made me feel very comfortable in doing hard things. She has connected me with a great Dr and acupuncturist and I feel like I’m seen and supported for the first time in a long time.
