Wellnass® is an endearing term I penned for women of color, namely black women. It means that we are doing wellness our way. A wellnass® woman understands her identity, she embraces her culture as a means of wellness and not a demeaning failure of past behaviors. She embraces her cultural foods while managing choices that best suits her health. She recognizes that God as her Creator and has made her wonderful and unique.

Every Fall season we come together to celebrate womanhood, growth and spiritual enrichment through a retreat called the Wellnass® WEtreat.
